TO Mai Angel Page I have put together some of my favorite poems that I have found on the net with some of my favorite people that I think could be considered angels in their own right. I would like to share them with you. I hope you will enjoy! ~Occasionally, we are graced with the presence of an earth bound angel. They are unable to stay with us for long, but while they do, they bring unprecedented joy and happiness to all they touch. While they are here, we bask in their goodness and marvel at their contribution to the world. When they leave, we are left with the devastation that comes with losing such a wonderful being...but we must remember...the earth bound angels are not ours to keep. They are ours to enjoy, learn from, and behold until they return home.~ Angels have always been important to me. I somehow turn to them when I am in trouble or need help. It gave me a sense of comfort that put my heart to peace. She has dedicated so much to the cause. I applaud her. I have a friend that lost two brothers to aids. A grandmother is a little girl who suddenly shows up one day with a touch of grey in her hair. Better than anything, she has a way of understanding little boys. Especially men who are grown-up little boys. Something about a grandmother is always making you hungry. Maybe it's the apple pies baking and the chicken frying and the biscuits in the oven. But Grandma always has the nicest smelling house. Long before Band-Aids were invented, she was the best person to take care of scraped knees and scratched elbows and banged heads. It was something in the way she touched you. Grandmother was an expert on mischief, too. Especially when you had been into it. When she looked right into your eyes it was pretty hard to fool her about what really happened. Really. And it was when you were almost too big to sit in her lap that you began to learn that she was a very special person to talk to. Sometimes, she would give you the right answers without saying a word. ~Harry McMahan~ Angels Watching over us.... Angels come into all of our lives in a variety of ways. They have always been with us, in every time and culture. Angels appear when they're least expected. And they are just as unpredictable in what they say or do. Their closer presence is deeply encouraging-just the helping hand for which so many of us have been praying. They are with us whether we believe in them or not. The Angels are here.....
